200 representatives of the Development Association of Disabled People from Prosaim village in Tumnoup commune of Batheay district in Kampong Cham province have on the morning of 12th July camped out a third time in front of Prime Minister Hun Sen's house in Phnom Penh to ask him to intervene for local authority to issue them with land titles in 2nd December commune, Snuol district in Kratie province earmarked by the government for demobilised and veteran disabled soldiers, reports Cambodian Express News.

Mr. Yang Yeuk, president of the Development Association of Disabled People, said his association had applied for the land titles since 2008 but up until now they have not been issued to them yet. Later, Ministry of Environment told the association that all the lands in the area have been sold the investment companies and there were no land left for the veteran disabled soldiers. He said the group had come to the Prime Minister's house twice already and his assistants told them that they will resolve the issue for them in within a week. But Up until now no solution has been found for them, he said.

Chea Meng Tim, another veteran disabled soldier, said if there is no solution this time, he will camp under the Bodhi tree until the solution has been found. However, an official from Phnom Penh's Daun Penh district said the district authority will not allow the protesters to camp under the Bodhi tree more than a few days.
