Saying from Dhammapada

Long is the night to the wakeful, long is the league to him who is weary. Long is Sansara to the foolish who know not the Sublime Truth.
From craving springs grief, from craving springs fear; For him who is wholly free from craving there is not grief, whence fear?
Of bones is this body made,Plastered with flesh and blood;Wherein are deposited decay and death,Conceit and detraction.
Before long, alas! this body will lie upon the earth;Cast aside, devoid of consciousness, even as a useless log.
To many a refuge do men go,- to hills and woods,To gardens, trees, and shrines, when tormented by fear.
Nay, such is no refuge secure, such is no refuge supreme;Resorting to such a refuge one is not released from all sorrow.
One must take refuge in oneself: what other protector (refuge) can there be?By being fully controlled one obtains a refuge which is hard to gain.
Hard is birth as man,Hard is the life of mortals,Hard is the hearing of the Sublime Truth,Hard is the appearance of a Buddha.
Not to do any evil,To cultivate good,To purify one's mind,-This is the advice of the Buddhas.
" Transient are all conditioned things"-When this with wisdom one discerns,Disenchanted then is one with all,-This is the path to Purity.
Let go the past, let go the future, let go the present (front, back and middle).Crossing beyond the shores of existence, with mind released every-where, do not again undergo birth and decay.
Overcome anger by loving-kindness, evil by good;Overcome the stingy by generosity and liars by truth.
Calm is his mind, calm is his speech, calm is his deed, - who, rightly knowing, is wholly freed, perfectly peaceful and equipoised.
Health is the highest profit,Contentment is the highest of riches,The trustworthy are the highest of kinsmen,Nibbana is the highest happiness.,

Live in Joy

Live in Joy, In love,
Even among those who hate.

Live in joy, In health,
Even among the afflicted.

Live in joy, In peace,
Even among the troubled.

Look within. Be still.
Free from fear and attachment,
Know the sweet joy of living in the way.
