Education works and students at South Philadlephia High School will participate in a series of workshops-using the "Get Real About Violence" curriculum-to support the process of racial healing and reconciliation among students at South Philadelphia High School. Part of the day's activities will include a candle lighting ceremony and prayer vigil to encourage the children as they embark on a year-long project to commit to the principals of racial harmony and peaceful conflict resolution. The students will design a mural in conjunction with the Mural Arts Program that African Americna and Asian students will complete together this year.
