An overpass bridge (pictured), known as Sky Bridge, in Phnom Penh will be officially inaugurated and open for public use on 24th June by Prime Minister Hun Sen, reports Deum Ampil.
Touted as the first overhead bridge in Cambodia, Sky Bridge cost nearly $7 million and took nearly one year to build.
Mr. Kep Chuktema, Governor of Phnom Penh, said that in 2013 two more overpass bridges will be constructed with the first one connecting Boeng Kok district to Two Dear Point and the second one will be built at the traffic light intersection near the Monk's Hospital.
